Guy Crucil,
Director of Operations
Crucil
received his B.S. degree in chemical engineering
from the University of Illinois at Chicago and
later earned his Masters in chemical
engineering at the Illinois Institute of
Technology. For 10 years he worked in research in
the chemical industry, including NALCO in
Naperville, IL. Then he saw an opportunity to go
into business in the rapidly expanding golf
industry. Besides his involvement in Green Grass
Software, Crucil owns Fore Better Golf, Inc., a
firm that provides graphic arts and printing of
score cards and yardage books; and Perfect Par,
Inc., manufacturer of laminated cart books. He is
married, has one daughter and lives in
Bloomingdale, Ill.
Greg Sharp,
Director of Technology
A graduate
of the University of Toronto, Sharp began his
technology career in the early 1980s with Four
Seasons Hotels in Toronto. He became the
companys MIS director during his six-year
tenure. A native of Canada, Sharp moved to
Minneapolis in 1991, where he founded Multimedia
Productions, Inc., an early pioneer in new media.
In recent years, the company has become a
significant player in high-tech interactive web
applications. He is a member of the Minnesota
Software Association and resides in Toronto.
Dick Thompson,
Director of Marketing
A native of
the Minneapolis area, Thompson has been in the
software business for 12 years. He was graduated
from the University of Minnesota with a B.S.
degree from the Carlson School of Management.
Before going into software sales, Thompson was
with H.J. Heinz Corp. for two years, ran a custom
golf club shop and manufactured custom golf
clubs. In the software business he was with
Rimage Corp. for eight years before starting his
own consulting and service company three years
ago. A member of the Minnesota Software
Association, Thompson is married, has three
children and lives in Northfield, Minnesota.,
near Minneapolis.
